for Early childhood Development

The Academy currently has two offerings that will support the building and capacitation of the South African workforce: the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) Level 4 and financial entrepreneurship New Venture Creation.

NQF 04
Qualification

NQF 04 is an entry-level qualification that enables recipients to facilitate the holistic development of young children in a way that is sensitive to culture and individual needs – including those with special needs – and enable them to provide quality early childhood development services for young children in a variety of contexts: ECD Centres, community-based services, at home and in institutions. NQF 04 is specifically for school leavers who want to enter the field of ECD, ECD practitioners who are in Educare Centre without formal ECD qualifications or Day mothers and Au pairs

New Venture Creation
Accredited Course

This qualification equips entrepreneurs – like an ECD Centre or Educare owner – with the necessary skills to establish and develop successful small to medium business ventures. It is designed for learners who intend to set up or have already set up their own new venture. The qualification also addresses the economic, administrative and behavioural (psycho-social) barriers that contribute to success in forming and sustaining a new business venture. Competencies and knowledge assessment in the qualification needs are done in the context of the learner’s own new venture.

How does it Work?

Our courses are hosted on our world-class learner management system. Upon enrollment, you will have access to a personalised dashboard and course calendar with notifications and progress tracking. Course content includes video lessons and workbooks with quizzes to measure what you have learned.
